Felix Oldenburg counts among the pioneers of social entrepreneurship, social innovation and corporate social responsibility. He was listed several times in the top forty young talents in the 40 unter 40, a ranking of the German business magazine “Capital”.
In the course of his career at Ashoka, he was responsible for the founding of FASE and the Ashoka programs in Austria, Turkey and Netherlands. Furthermore he has supported governments in finding and extending strategies for social entrepreneurship.
Tony Meloto is the founder of Gawad Kalinga (GK), a movement that builds integrated, holistic and sustainable communities in slum areas with a vision to end poverty for 5 million Filipino families by 2024. At a young age, Tony was exposed to the squalid living conditions of the poor where poverty was very pronounced.
GK has been implemented in 2,500 communities in the Philippines and other developing countries such as Indonesia, Cambodia and Papua New Guinea. GK is not just a provider of housing, but communities where beneficiaries are trained to cultivate sustainable sources of livelihood for self-sufficiency.
GK has now initiated a movement to integrating sustainability in the communities, through the GK Enchanted Farm Village University Template. With a deliberate focus on countryside development and social entrepreneurship, the Farm Village University is the first of its kind in the world, designed to become a destination for Social Tourism, a venue for Social Education and an incubator for Social Business whose end goal is to raise 500,000 social entrepreneurs to create wealth where no one is left behind.
Motivated and pro-active in the social entrepreneurship field, Johannes Weber has been awarded with Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum 2014 award and is yet another speaker who will inspire participants during our conference this year.
Graduating from European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel and having studied at HEC Lausanne and International Business School in Budapest, he is the founder and Managing Partner at Ananda Ventures, the first internationally investing Social Venture Capital Fund in Germany.

Patrick Mijnals graduated University of Nijmegen in Netherlands with the titles Drs. / M.Sc. in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence and has since built on his professional experience as a consultant and author for Zukunfinstitut GmbH, as portfolio manager at Deutsche Telekom and owner of consultancy firm Zukunftdesigner.
Driven by the idea “It’s never too late for the future”, the founder and CEO of Bettervest since 2012 has been awarded for his social entrepreneurship initiative by several organizations such as European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) / Climate KIC or German Council for Sustainable Development.
