SensAbility will kick off! Two sensy days of socializing, inspiration and
refreshing minds lie ahead. What will be the things you absolutely should not
miss?
#1 Our Networking Lounge.
Don’t miss the unique opportunity to socialize with sensy participants
like you at our Networking Lounge. After our dinner on Friday evening, our
Lounge offers music, drinks, and snacks besides the great opportunity to get to
know the other participants, exchange ideas about social relevant topics and
easily develop new contacts.
#2 Our Market of
Opportunities.
If you are looking for a job in a social business or already have
developed your own creative ideas for a social start-up, at our Networking Fair
on Friday afternoon, you get the chance to meet social entrepreneurs, establish
business contacts and talk about job opportunities in the social sector.
#3 Our SocialPitch.
We believe that innovative business models should be supported. That’s
why we introduced the SocialPitch@Sens in 2014. If you have applied for the
SocialPitch on Friday, you can pitch your social business idea in front of experts
and investors within the social entrepreneurship scene. The prize is funding up
to the amount of € 50,000 to kick off your business plan as well as valuable advice
and support from experienced entrepreneurs.
#4 Our Speeddating.
During our Speeddating, you get the chance to meet and establish
contacts with social entrepreneurs from five different social businesses in a
cozy atmosphere: Pure Food, Frischepost, DasEis, Premium Cola, and The Changer.
#5 Our
Panel Discussion.
We invited
experts from a variety of different backgrounds to a Panel Discussion guaranteeing
an exciting and diverse controversy you definitely should not miss! Patrick
Bales (COO Bonaverde), Uwe Bergmann (Head of Sustainability and CSR Management at Henkel), Dr.
Michael Bornmann (CEO DEG Invest), and Paul Ziemiak (Federal Chairman of Junge
Union Deutschland) will discuss this year’s conference’s motto: “Refreshing minds
– Redesign a profit-oriented world”.
#6 Our Keynote Speeches.
During
two sensy days, you get to listen to eight different keynote speeches from
popular personalities in the social enterprise scene. Amongst others, Felix
Oldenburg, CEO Ashoka Germany and European Director, as well as Tony Meloto,
the founder of Gawad Kalinga – a Philippine-based movement with the aim to
eliminate poverty for 5 million families by 2024 – will present inspiring talks
about social business.
#7 Our Workshops and
Crashcourses.
In eight workshops and eight crashcourses led by experts with practical experience
in social business, you will gain helpful insights on founding a social
business and challenges that might occur, how to successfully crowdfund a
social business and how to carry the idea of social entrepreneurship into large
corporations.
